Ok so I was making dinner and sammy was entertaining me with some songs she learned at school when Boston walked over and stood in front of her and started dancing and trying to join in. I made me laugh and I was able to get a little video, well I got 2 videos but the other one is to big so it wont let me download it :-( The other one is better I will keep trying!

Melodramatic

We went to my parents house last weekend and saw my brother Richard in the school play. It was a melodrama which was really cool I have never been to a melodrama it was fun how they interact with the audience. My brother played a drunk irish man he was pretty good I loved to watch him and so did sammy it made us laugh. We sat on the front row and sammy loved it when the "villan" dumped pretend water on her and her cousin Robyn. Then the two villans tried to throw a girl in the garbage and sammy kept telling her cousin robyn that if she didn't be good that bad guy was gonna get her and throw her away. It was so funny. All in all we had a good time visiting and Good Job Richard you are a Star in my book!

Bostons Walking

Ok do i am pretty sure its official Boston is now Walking more than crawling. I love his little waddle it makes me laugh he gets so excited and starts going to fast and falls but he always gets right back up. Everytime we are at the store he wants to get down and run with sammy and he gets mad that we buckle him in the cart, sometimes we make sammy sit by him.





Sammy is adorable as always she is loving school and her brother. At school the other day the teacher asked what was their favorite thing to play with at home Sammy said my favorite thing to play with is my brother. It was so cute the teacher told me she is such a sweet girl but we all knew that already didnt we? She plays so good with him most of the time sometimes he picks on her, its kinda funny when she freaks out at him but I love that she freaks out and doesnt hurt him.

Halloween

Happy Halloween Everyone!!! We had a pretty good halloween this year it was Bostons First! We went to a trunk or treat at Grants preschool and the kids got loads of candy. Then Boston fell asleep so Ryan stayed at Sallys with him and Sammy and I went around the blocke with everyone else but sammy made it about half way around and decided she was done. I didnt care much I am sure we have plenty of candy.
Sammy wanted to be Princess Aurora (sleeping beauty) and what a beautiful princess she was.

Boston got to be a lion, I of course wanted him to be a frog but we couldnt find a costume that fit so Sammy wanted him to be a lion he made a very cute lion, he even roared a couple times it was adorable.

Boston walking? and Sammys first field trip

So Boston is 9 months old now he is getting so big so fast but h e is not so fat anymore. He was just shy of 21 lbs and 28.75 in. He also is walking around the house he walks from couch to couch or couch to table he can walk with you if you hold one of his hands. Sometimes he decides crawling is faster but he is getting pretty good at the walking thing too. This isn't a very good video but i will keep trying to get a good one posted.

Sammy also had her first field trip they went to the dinosaur park. She loved it of course I loved watching her play with her friends. She kept making me take pics of her here are a few.

Sammy was playing her games on the computer she has started closing the door cause boston goes in there and bothers her. Well Boston was sitting at the door crying to get in so i went to get him and i peeked inside to see what she was doing and she was singing this song so I got my phone and i got her to sing it for me.

Boston has been pulling himself up to stand using furniture and things but now he can stand up with our using anything.
Here is a video of him out in the grass. He dropped a toy just as I started recording and he is looking for it.

He has also started taking steps he is still wobbly but he has gotten up to three steps in a row without falling over.

Sammys first day

Yesterday was sammys first day of preschool. She said she had a really fun time and she didnt even cry. She told me she didnt miss me at all so I assume that means she had fun and that she likes it. I think she has been ready for school for a while so I am not surprised.

Boston

Boston has started crawling he started the end of July i am just really slow. He is also pulling himself up to stand using the furniture and what ever he can. He recently started cruising along the furniture also and he likes to stand himself up and let go he has pretty good balance. here is a little video of him crawling.

Lagoon

So we went to lagoon this year. I think both Sammy and Boston loved it. I didnt take many pics really but here are a few.

Here is Sammy driving a blue car which is funny because she was talking about driving her own blue car since we watched Toy Story 2.

Sammy got to ride every ride she wanted to and she loved it. We went on rattle snake rapids and me and Sammy got soaked. She thought it was funny. then she went with Ryan and Jared and Brittany and they all got soaked. She loved most of the rides and had a great time.

So life gets crazy and I am really bad at this.
Boston started sitting on his own in June when he was 5 months old.
He also has a new way of getting our attention that totally cracks me up everytime. He likes to tilt his head to the side untill you look at him.

My tile experience

So this weekend I drove up to my parents house for the day to help my dad tile the bath tub before my mom has surgery. that way she can use her own tub and not have to worry about walking up and down the stairs. So we worked on it all saturday afternoon and got one wall done. Mom wanted a fancy design with the tiles at an angel, but it wasjust me and my dad and we never done anything like this before,so this is how it came out.

Then I stayed the night because we worked until almost 9 so Sunday morning we finished up and here is what we did. There is no grout yet cause we had to wait 24 hours so i wont be there for that part but this is how it looked when I left. Yay us!

just a few updates

Ok so it has been a while. Not much has really been going on just the same old same old. Sammy and Boston are both getting bigger by the day. Sammy loves to read to Boston here is a pic of them enjoying a book together.

They are so cute I totally love it. Sammy has a new found love for my church boots she put them on and they come up her whole leg it is so funny to watch her try and walk around in them.

Boston got this cute outfit from my friend Sarah and it finally is getting warm enouh for him to wear it. It came with a little hat and i think it is so cute on him.

Boston has started rolling over, from front to back but i bet back to front will be any day now. I was trying to get a video but of course he wouldnt do it for me but here is a pic of Sammy and Boston laying on the floor.

Well thats about it for now more to come but who knows when.

Easter

Ok so i know its way late but I wanted to post some pics of the kids in their easter outfits. Sammy was being silly but i know my mom and my sister schyla got some better ones.

Poor baby Boston

My poor little baby got sick. He spent Sunday night in the hospital with RSV. We had his follow up doctors appt today and he is sounding better. I had to bring home a machine that sucks all the snot out of his nose and he hates it I feel so bad. We also have a nebulizer to give him breathing treatments. Sammy likes to help me with the breathing treatments and she holds his hand while I suck out his nose and she says "Dont cry sisters here" it is so cute. Ryan and Nate gave him a blessing and I am just glad he was able to come home although I am completely exhausted. Ryan is back to work which is great but at the same time I am dealing with this alone it feels like. I know this is completely scattered and might not make much sense but all i want to say is we are doing well and things are going better.

St. Patricks Day

Happy St. Patricks Day! Well we had a fun day. Me and the kids got dressed in green and went to a party at the church. Sammy had so much fun. She is so fun at this age this year she is figuring out all of the little holidays like Valentines Day and St. Patricks Day and it is so great to watch her.

Bostons blessing

Boston was blessed this past weekend on March 8th. It was a great weekend! My sister Tabitha and her kids came on thursday and spent the weekend with us. It was crazy and the house was full but it was also fun and the kids loved it. My parents and my brothers came on Saturday followed shortly by grandpa Barney and Cora who was a surprise. Mom and Dad stayed at a hotel saturday night and so they all went swimming.

Sunday was crazy we had tons of people all trying to get ready for church cause saturday night There was ryan , myself and our two kids, plus tabitha and her three kids, plus Cora, Richard and Kubby all in my little apartment. Then Schyla, Joe and their two kids showed up Sunday morning and added a few more people to get ready with us. We all made it!

After church we went to Sallys house for a potato bar lunch. We were actually able to snap a few pics. Here is a great one of Oma and Opa with all of the grandkids.
All in all it was great to have almost everyone together. I am so glad we survived it all and now we have even more memories to look back on.

It's been too long

I forgot how time consuming new babys are. We haven't been up to much just hanging out, Ryan has still been home so I have been spoiled having his help constantly. Here is a picture of Ryan, Boston and Sammy, she was making faces cause she thought it was funny.
Sammy, Boston and I went to my moms house this weekend. It was nice to see my parents and brothers. My dad finally got to meet Boston. Here is Boston when he fell asleep and he had his little hands folded.

We had tons of fun hanging out and taking pictures. Here is a picture of Boston in the little owl outfit that Nicole bought him. He is getting so big this was the first time he wore the outfit and it looks a bit tight. I was sad because it is so cute.

Sammy really missed her dad while we were gone so he took her shopping. They went to costo and sammy always has to have pizza when they go. Ryan took a pic of her chowing down. He said she ate almost the whole piece of pizza. What a little piggy.

Finally a Baby!!

Ok so he was like three days late but he made a grand entrance. Yes he is finally here our dear sweet Baby Boston Ryan Carroll. He was born Jan. 15th and 6am. He was 7lbs. 15oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. We are now home and its great to know that part is over. We are all excited for the new adventure to begin. I am already exhausted but loving every minute I get to spend with my two beautiful children. Sammy is very excited and protective of her baby she lets everyone know he is her baby Boston. Well here He is.

Ok so if you had asked me a couple weeks ago I would have told you I thought I would have a baby by now. I had a doctors appointment today and I am still only dialated to a 2 and I am due in three days. I have high hopes for this weekend I hope this baby does too.
